General

Fishing with small fish, dead or alive, is strictly forbidden in all
zones.
- Season : May 15 - October 15, closure for trout from September 15.

Please don't litter, take your waist home !

Park your car in such a way that you don't hinder the farmers.
- Fishing from a boat, canoe or float tube is only allowed in the Tynset
zone.

Allowed fishing tackle: rod and line. You can use worms, lures and flies.
- Minimum size for both trout and grayling is 30 cm.

Kvennan Fly Fishing zone
Allowed fishing tackle: fly
rod and fly line. The only weight used for casting is the fly line,
and only artificial flies are allowed.
- Minimum size for both trout and grayling is 35
cm,
maximum size is

- All fish larger than 40 cm must be released immediately.
