Kvennan Fly Fishing - fly fishing River Glomma, Tolga / Tynset, Norway

This website describes fly fishing possibilities at one of the best stretches in the upper part of famous river Glomma in  Eastern Norway. You will find all the information you need to prepare for a memorable fishing trip.

Kvennan Fly Fishing, started in 2006, is a long term project to preserve this quality fishing river for the future. We introduced a fly fishing-only zone, a bag limit, we raised the minimum size for both trout and grayling, we protect large fish and we installed a maximum amount of rods.
Initiators are Tolga River Board, Tynset River Board and river keeper Hein van Aar.
In cooperation with
Evenstad University College - Faculty of Forestry and Wilderness Management - monitoring of fish health, fish stocks, water quality and other vital factors will be done.

Every year fishermen from many different countries visit us so this site is written in English. All updates as fishing reports, water level etc are also in English.

You can contact Kvennan Fly Fishing by e-mail : kff@kvennan.com
If you want to speak to the river keeper : call (0047) 4682 2513
